So, this week was our 3 day weekend. Boy is it nice to be off that extra day. We are definitly in a Karma funk right now, so the best way to cheer myself up is to do a little artistic therapy. Seriously, I now know why there are people who go to school to teach music and art therapy to sick children and adults. Misty!! wink
So, I have this really cool photo spinner....not quite 7 gypsies but similar that I found at target. It holds 12 3x4 images, so I made this cute little quote up in Photoshop really quick.
Since I am pretty frugal about my art supplies, I made these up real quick too. I then just cut each down to 3x4 and placed in each frame. I still need to do one of the family but can't seem to find a recent picture of us.......hmmm.....put that down as something that needs to be done soon!
On Sunday we took our leftover bread to Riverside park to feed the ducks (and seagulls.) It was such a nice day and it was packed! Well, Mr. Nolan was all about running, so I just hung back a little, took some pictures and enjoyed watching life happen. Well, I seen this little old man making his way up the sidewalk, one lamp post at a time. He would reach one, rest a few moments, then make his way to the next one. Okay, first, he is old...and you can do whatever you want when you are old. Second, if he can get his butt out of the house and walk because he WANTS to, then there is no reason why I can't make myself move more. I edited this photo (can't find it now hmmm...must not have saved it) and put a little caption that says, "If he can do it, so can you!!)
While at the park, I seen this wonderful photo op. I love sun flares!!!!! This photo is straight out of my camera, not retouched an anyway. Still trying to figure out how I want to do that!
Well, with the time change and just my inability to sleep, I'm going to go watch some Big Bang Theory and go to bed! If you haven't seen that show, you are missing the funniest show on tv....probably ever.
